Four seasons

Four seasons I have lived,
in the four months I have left behind me;
And here I stand once again,
watching a whole new tapestry.

The most uncommon sights
I do perceive;
nothing short of miracles
if you please;
With bated breath
I await,
the sweet knocks of serendipity,
and the usual twists of fate.

November's gone

Not even a vague memory,
but a dull ache;
November came and went,
before I could take!

Inconsolate yet

The pain of parting, after I let you go,
It's something I don't ever again want to know.

The ache is still just a thought away;
fresh, almost as if it happened just today.

Forgive me for the wrongs I have done to you,
in your very heart;
If destiny wills, I will be glad to play my part,
and make another fresh, clean start.

But that bewilderment and panic,
in your eyes;
wrenches my gut and the truth,
from my lies.

En Mass

Tonight, a thwarted nature
will claim its price;
stealing a thousand and more souls
shrouded by torrents that deceive our eyes.

But we, shall sleep and wake to another morn
while they, amidst fearsome throes,
shall from life' s breath be torn.

Helpless the world watches
as nature's furious anger lashes;
at man and beast, machine and stone,
glad at being a witness...and for now, for being left alone.

Hiatus Sayonara

When you are back
it's like you've never left;
there's hope,
there's inspiration, in the promise kept.

That Pink Rose...

In the early hours of the day
before the sun rose;
You stirred, woke.

To ask me for my name,
that unusual hour you chose;
as I sat silently pouring my heart to you.

Strangers no more,
We are now acquainted;
and I am wary of treading like a fool,
the path even angels fear to tread.

Still...I confess am glad for this day,
though it didn't all turn out my way;
Our moment shone through
the din and confusion ...a moment that did stay!

Awake

You have woken from the mystery sleep
that drowned you deep;
now wide awake,
you are stranger to all that you see...smell...hear and feel.

They say only time, can now heal;
We wait...
